Chesapeake Bay Hyatt, Florentino & Graca’s Wedding Trailer
I had the immense pleasure of shooting Florentino and Graca’s wedding this past Saturday at the Chesapeake Bay Hyatt in Cambridge, Maryland. My shooter, Glen, and I arrived early and captured Graca and her bridesmaids getting their hair and make-up done in their hotel suite. Glen then went down the hall and captured Florentino waking up from his nap with his extraordinarily rowdy groomsmen! The ceremony was held outside on the lawn overlooking the marina and the river. It was a beautiful day with a calm cool breeze making the weather that much more pleasant.
I also had the pleasure of working with the awesome photographer, Mark Gardner and his assistant, Erik Matey, at the wedding. There are a handful of photographers that I really enjoy working with and Mark is one of them! When everyone works together like a team, giving each other ideas, we really produce our best work!
I also worked with the team from Make My Day Events out of Rehoboth Beach, DE. Leanne and Casey helped keep me notified of when and where things were happening which is always a huge stress relief. I honestly think that any couple planning a big wedding absolutely needs to hire a planner. The time it saves you and the much lower stress levels are totally worth it!
Anyways, I wanted to share Florentio and Graca’s wedding trailer. They purchased the HD (High Definition) upgrade and will be receiving their wedding on Blu-Ray discs. Atlantic City Photog ShootOut
My photographer friend, Rob Nicholson, recently started a great group called Photog ShootOut. This group is all about bringing together the area’s photographers to shoot some models, learn some great things, and have a great time doing it! Last month over 70 of the area’s top photographers met in Atlantic City, NJ at the AC Photog ShootOut event. I was honored once again (check out my first Photog ShootOut video!) to be the only videographer invited to the event. A promo video is a great marketing tool for you and your business. Why? Because it’s the best way to quickly and conveniently share with your potential clients your personality, style, and amazing work. Clients will be able to see how you work at a real wedding, fashion shoot, or e-session. I’m a firm believer in the idea that we sell relationships, not just a great product. An awesome promo video will help you establish those lasting and profitable relationships with your clients in a way that no other medium can accomplish. Your promo can be posted on your website, blog, facebook, and twitter accounts all adding to an effective form of marketing.
So, here’s how it works. Together we’ll come up with an awesome concept for your promo. Whether that be a cool, MTV style photo shoot, an interview/philospohy type of video, or some other off the wall idea, it will match your style and personallity and will show your clients just who you are!
Starting April 1st, 2009, $1500 gets you a standard 2-4 minute promo video. If your concept requires extra work, materials, models, etc., it will go up from there.

Philly Photog Shoot Out!
Over 50 Photographers from the Greater Philadelphia Area converged to shoot, learn, and laugh in the first ever Photog ShootOut on January 21st. Photographer Rob Nicholson of Humbled Eyes Photography organized the event and photographer Joe Pulcinella of Joe Pulcinella Photography hosted it at his home studio.
Aubert Films was invited to film the event and produce a fast paced video showing off the skills of some of Philly’s best photographers. Check out the video below and don’t forget to leave a comment!
