Chris & Juling’s Philadelphia Wedding Video at Sofitel Hotel
Not all couples are the same when it comes to the emotions felt on their wedding day. Some couples are in a state of bliss, while others are speechless throughout the day. Some couples get a case of the giggles while other couples are constantly teary-eyed. At Aubert Films, it is important to us to portray every complex emotion you experienced on your wedding day into your film so you can forever relive one of the most special days of your life over and over again. For Chris and Juling, there were butterflies in their stomach throughout the entire morning. As the ceremony approached, their emotions morphed into giddiness and anticipation, so we chose a song that started with a serious tone and became more upbeat as Juling started walking down the aisle. During the ceremony, Chris nervously stumbled over a few words and while it lightened up the mood in the film, it also made obvious the importance of that day to Chris and how he was literally speechless seeing his soon-to-be wife. The reception took place at the Sofitel Hotel, and the vibe of the day completely changed when Chris and Juling’s guests got on the dance floor. They knew how to have a good time, so we made sure dancing got it’s spot in the wedding video. It was an amazing day and we hope they can watch their film for years to come and always relive those deep and complex emotions.
Stacie & Matt’s Signature Wedding Film at Beth Judah in New Jersey
At Aubert Films, every time we meet a couple, we keep in mind key things about their personalities and values that we can reflect into their wedding video. In Stacie and Matt’s case, there were three key things I noticed that I wanted to incorporate into their New Jersey Wedding Video. Those things were Stacie and Matt’s close bond to their families, their strong devotion to the Jewish faith, and their written vows said at the ceremony. Stacie and Matt’s wedding was held at Beth Judah in New Jersey. The vows spoken during the ceremony were moving on both Stacie and Matt’s behalf. As they said their vows to each other, it was as if they were alone, pouring their hearts out to one another. For the reception I wanted to include Stacie’s father’s toast in the film because he expressed his deep pride and love for his daughter so perfectly. A favorite moment for me is when Stacie’s eyes glistened with tears as her father ended his toast saying, “Remember always that mommy and daddy love you.” It was an emotional and exciting day for both families involved and we wish Stacie and Matt many more happy and healthy years. It was also a pleasure working with photographer Alyssa Maloof. You can check out her amazing work here.
Jennie and Joe’s Love Story & Same Day Edit at Abington Art Center
What I love the most about being a wedding filmmaker is taking the unique characteristics of a couple and incorporating them into their film. Upon meeting Jennie and Joe, we noticed right away that they weren’t just in love, but they were best friends as well. During the entire shoot, they were both glowing and laughing, and it radiated to everybody else around them. It was noticeable that despite different backgrounds and cultures, Jennie and Joe complement each other perfectly and we wanted that to be reflected in the Love Story.
When editing the Love Story, it was so difficult to pick the best parts of the interview to add because everything was so good! But there was one particular line I knew I had to add to the film. At one point, Jennie says these amazing words, “Despite cultural differences, religious differences, our families come from different experiences, love is something that we all share together and he is so committed to love. I’m committed to that, too.” To me, that sentence sums up Jennie and Joe’s relationship. One of my favorite scenes in the Love Story is when Joe is dancing and Jennie is laughing hysterically even with her back turned. I find that I can’t help but smile every time I watch that scene.
Jennie and Joe’s wedding was held at the Abington Art Center in Philadelphia. In the Same Day Edit, some of my favorite scenes are when Joe meets Jennie halfway down the aisle and they walk together the rest of the way. The way they look into each others eyes really stands out to me in that you can truly feel the emotional connection between them. However, my favorite shot in the entire edit is when Jennie and Joe have just entered the reception and are standing in the middle of all the people who came to celebrate their wedding with them. Everyone is clapping and they both look so overwhelmed with happiness.
Getting to see the reaction of the couple was the most rewarding part of the day for Aubert Films. Tissues were being passed around, and Jennie’s constant teary smile was reassuring. There was so much love at this wedding and it radiated throughout the entire night.

Geoff and Noel’s Wish Upon a Wedding Love Story
At Aubert Films, we believe in making films that emote powerful emotions. We want our clients to watch their film and be able to re-experience the same feelings they had on their wedding day. When the Philadelphia Chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding asked us to film the love story of their first couple, we wanted to make a film that told the entire emotional story of these two people who are very much in love.
In case you don’t know, Wish Upon a Wedding is a national charity organization that grants weddings to couples where the bride or the groom is stricken with a terminal illness. They do this through the donations of volunteer companies, like Aubert Films. You can check out past weddings and love stories by clicking here.
Going into the shoot, we really didn’t have much information about the couple or their story so it was difficult not knowing what to expect. But when we finally met Geoff and Noel, I knew they were the perfect couple. The love they have for each other, even in the face of such difficult times, is so deeply touching. The entire shoot, it radiated out from both of them like a soft glow that touched everyone involved in the shoot. You could literally feel it in the air as it ebbed and flowed throughout the shoot.
I wanted that radiance of love to be replicated in the film. I wanted Geoff and Noel and anyone watching it to experience that love the same way we experienced it on the shoot. When I was editing this film my assistant was behind me, watching it as I worked. At one point I turned around and saw her tearing up. “They’re just so perfect,” she whispered as she wiped away a tear. I hope you feel the same way when you watch this special love story for two amazing people, Geoff and Noel.
P.S. – It was great working with photographer Cindy Guessford as she did one of her Beloved session with Geoff and Noel. She is an amazing individual and an equally amazing photographer. Check out her shots from Geoff and Noel’s session by clicking here.
Special thanks goes out to Mark Kingsdorf and Rebecca Richman of Queen of Hearts Consulting for their involvement. Pat Ambrosius of The Pragmatic Planner as well! Thanks so much to all of you!
Gia and Mark’s Philadelphia Wedding Video Trailer at the Sofitel Hotel
Gia and Mark were referred to us by super photographers Darah and Siobhan from DollFace Studio. Gia and Mark were perfect clients because they literally told us to do whatever we wanted. On the customization form that we ask all of our clients to fill out, it simply reads:

Steve and Danielle – May 31st Trailer
I had the pleasure of shooting Steve and Danielle’s wedding this past weekend in Rehoboth Beach, DE. I’ve never been to Rehoboth before but when I got there I loved the small beach town atmosphere. I also was shooting with 1st class photographer, Mark Gardner. It’s always a great time shooting with him because he has so much energy. Check out his photos on his new blog. The beautiful flowers were provided by Bayberry Flowers and the Bride’s and Bridesmaid’s hair was done by Made Ya Look Salon. The reception was held at the members only and highly exclusive, Rehoboth Beach Country Club. What a great location! The main ball room was perfectly lit and the view of the ocean was incredible.
Below is the trailer I’ve put together for Steve and Danielle. Make sure to leave your comments!
