Experience – I have filmed over 300 weddings as a lead shooter working in both solo and multi-videographer teams. I have experience with all types of faiths and cultures, including Evangelical, Catholic, Hindu, Sikh, Sunni, Ethiopian, Jewish, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino, and more. I have filmed weddings in every environment possible from the beach, outdoor farms and barns, forests and national parks, to every manner of indoor location in the suburbs and downtown in cities. Hurricanes, tornadoes, and blizzards – been there, done that.
Work Philosophy – Filming 300 weddings gives you a lot to reflect back on. The most important thing I’ve learned is that the day-of customer experience is as equally important to how well a wedding is filmed. Creating a positive, fun environment that supports the wedding couple throughout their day not only fosters better footage, but leaves the client feeling thankful the videographer was even there. The same philosophy applies to working with other vendors at the event. Manifesting a “wedding team” out of many independent vendors like the photographer, DJ, Band, etc. creates an environment where everyone gets their job done and makes the couple’s dream day happen without a hitch.
